1 lb. ground turkey
½ tsp. nutmeg
½ tsp. sage
½ tsp. thyme
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tsp. salt
Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
- Shape it into patties.
- Or crumble it to brown in a skillet, adding a few tablespoons of butter if needed.
- Alternatively, bake patties at 350°F for 20 to 30 minutes. Do not overcook.
I like to brown sausage ahead of time, storing it in the refrigerator or freezer to use in other recipes.
